Surgery Date!!!!

Well, I will be having my surgery on Monday, March 5 at 8:00 in the morning. I have to be at the hospital at 6:45AM to prepare for surgery and the surgery will last for about an hour and a half. I will then be in the hospital over night and get to come home on Tuesday.

I am scared and nervous because, my Doctor said that the anesthesiologist uses the ephidural for anesthesia. I told her that with my son, I felt the beginning cuts of the cesarean with the ephidural so, she said we will talk t the anesthesiologist about it and he might decide to just use the general anesthetic instead.

  1. Yikes! Im glad you got to put a word in ahead of time about the type of anethestia for the surgery, especially if the epi for your wons birth didnt really cut it.

I will mark my calendar for the 5th and be sending good vibes all day! You must be so excited to be one step closer to TTC ! Eeeeeeee thoughts of babies make me smile :) just think of squishy little baby faces the day of your surgery.

Ps m iPad wont let me fix "wons" to "son's" up there, sorry! Lol

  4. Hey... I had my surgery done yesterday. My doctor and anesthesiologist were wonderful, and waited long enough to make sure that the anesthesia was at an adequate level... I felt a lot of pushing and pulling, but not pain at all...I didn't even know when they made the incision! At the end when they were taking all the "stuff" out, there was some pulling and pressure that was uncomfortable, but I wouldn't call it painful. I got to drink some liquids last night and had some fruit this morning... around 1 they are going to bring me real food, and then I get to go home at around 6. I wish you the best!
